The 2Schools Consortium has been successfully involved in teacher training for more than 10 years and has a wealth of experience in mentoring trainees and in delivering high-quality teacher training.

All trainees on the 2Schools Consortium School Direct Salaried and SCITT Programme have the opportunity to work towards a PGCE award which will be validated by the University of East London.

Sarah Chuckla, NQT 2018 at Wilbury says: Schools Direct provides you with so many opportunities to observe and learn from other practitioners. The weekly training sessions are filled with useful and practical information for you to use. There is an excellent balance between gaining theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Oakthorpe Primary School in Enfield acts as the lead school in a strong and growing partnership. Trainees will complete their year’s training either at the lead school or at a school within the partnership. Schools that have worked with us include:

Schools further afield include Childs Hill in Barnet, Bonneygrove Primary, Kingsmoor Academy, South Harringay Primary and Chestnuts Primary in Haringey.
